To reach to the top of Cima Tofana, we have to take 3 cable cars in a row. The bottom cable car station is located in the center of Cortina. Therefore, after our nice breakfast, we just walked through the town to the cable car station.
The first cable car stop is Col Druscie. There is a natural trail (Col Drucie Astro Ring), we walked part of it and saw that there is a bicycle park starting from there too. We saw many brave young bikers just zipping through it.
At the 2nd stop Ra Valles, there is a wooden heart statue in the hill, therefore we just hiked up there for some photos.
The 3rd and final stop is Cima Tofana, we enjoyed the 360 degree view at there.

Then, we noticed that there is a trail for hiking up to Tofana di Mezzo. It is a trail high up and next to the mountain. It was pretty intimidating by just looking at it. We decided to try it and to get as far as we are capable of doing it. However, after we saw there is a chain to help hikers, so we went along and hiked to the top of the trail. After that you can climb the rocks to get even higher, but we decided not to try climbing the rocks.
On the top, the view was just breathtaking. We stayed on the top for quite a while and enjoyed the Dolomites in 360 degrees view.
On our way back down, we stopped by Ra Valles and had cappuccinos and raspberry cheese cake at the restaurant there (Capanna Ra Valles).
After we got back to Cortina, we went out and did more shopping in this beautiful town. We got takeout from The Roof and ate the food in our hotel room.
